Movie Theme Day 16: Confessions of a Shopaholic

 

I thought I was done Christmas shopping, but Percy must feel differently.  He said he noticed nothing under the tree for him, and that I need to get on buying him something too!  Ummm, you had to get into my purse to tell us this?!

Movie Theme Day 15: The Mummy

 

I think someone is enjoying playing in our new clean bathroom.  Robert went to use the toilet this morning, and head screaming coming from within, and I opened the door, he told me, "look!"  Sure enough Percy was all wrapped up like a mummy in the toilet paper!  I'm just glad he didn't string it through the house!

Movie Theme Day 14~ Psycho

 

So, this may not be a very nice and childlike visit from Percy, but he said it was time mom got in on the action of the movie themes.  Nothing scarier than being in the shower when you look up and see this!  Well played Percy, well played!

Movie Theme Day 13~Hostage

 

I thought things were good here at the house, but I guess not!  Came down this morning to find Percy taped up to the wall and surrounded by a group of toys!  Here we go again!

Movie Theme Day 12~Santa Claus

 

Not being able to find the right materials to make snow globe, Percy used our punch bowl and cake stand to create a make shift snow globe.  It was such a cute idea, Mr. Percy!

Movie Theme Day 11: I'll Be Home For Christmas

 

While being in our home to watch Robert, we had to create a safe place for Percy to hide out while he does his job for Santa.  After much thought and knowing how much he wants to be home for Christmas, we found the perfect Christmas like spot for him.  Not too much longer, Mr. Percy, and to home you will go for another year!

Movie Theme Day 10~Toy Story

 

After last years, having a crush on Jesse and major marshmallow snowball fight, I was worried how these guys would get along.  To our surprise, when we woke up, they were all chilling in the shopping cart, looking like things had been patched up.  Still, Buzz has a look in his eye, we better watch for!



 

Movie Theme Day 9~Hansel and Gretel

 

Today was a little creepy when we found Percy hanging out in a Gingerbread House, just looking for some little girl or boy to come and play.  He told us the oven, um house, was nice and warm and ready for anyone who wanted to come in.  I am guessing he wants to play the witch!

Movie Theme Day 8~Cool Runnings

 

Percy must know how much Robert loves candy canes, because when we got up this morning, he was all prepped to do some major playing in the snow with his creative candy cane sled.  I had to remind him, that we didn't have snow, yet, but he didn't care!  Robert was really worried Percy would eat all of these candy canes!

Movie Theme Day 7~Elf

 

Someone must be missing back home, because when we got up this morning, Percy was chilling on the couch, stuffed full of popcorn and the movie Elf was on repeat.  Percy says Buddy is like a brother to him and eating the popcorn makes him feel closer to him, even though he is at the North Pole!

Movie Theme Day 6~Don't Throw Momma (Percy) From the Train

 

Knowing Robert loves trains, Percy was quite inventive when he came up with the idea to make a train out of his shoes and then sit and act as the engineer.  I wonder though about his sense of smell, because, whew, that boy has some stinky feet!

Movie Theme Day 5~Polar Express

 

Hearing the sound of "tsk, tsk", I knew Percy was scolding us about something with our Christmas decorations or the lack their of.  "How can you not have a train around the tree?", he asked us.  So that night he created his own train to ride around on, and told us to get on it, so Robert can see Santa.

Movie Theme Day 4~Christmas Vacation

 

We went looking for Percy and we finally found him in the tree, looking ever so ornery.  He told Robert that he better be nice, or the tree was going over just like in Christmas Vacation!  Broken ornaments and fire is never a good thing!

Movie Theme Day 3~Evan Almighty

 

Percy must be loving the toys since he got here, because today we found him playing with Robert's Noah and the Ark toy, and when we asked Percy what he was doing, he said "Noah, Even Almighty, and now Percy have built an Ark!"  I guess he is saving the world in two's this year!

Movie Theme Day 2~Disney's Planes

 

Percy must have caught wind that Robert has some new toys from last year, because when we got up this morning, we found all of our Planes Legos all set up and Percy was flying around the room! 

Movie Theme Day 1~You've Got Mail

 

Percy, our family Elf on the Shelf, arrived at the Fought household on November 30th, after our Thanksgiving festivities were over with for the year.  There was a letter taped to the door announcing we had mail, and sure enough a package for Robert was waiting for him that morning.  He was so excited to open up mail and when he saw that Percy had arrived, he was so excited!  Santa left mom a message to try and do a movie themed adventure with Percy this year, so everyone could have a little fun, and do we plan on it!
